Feeding Guidelines

Butcher’s Best™ Signature Menu can help maintain your dog’s health when combined with exercise, veterinary care, and controlling intake of other food and treats. Use this chart as a guide, adjusting as necessary to maintain optimal weight. Portions will vary according to age, breed, temperament and environment. When introducing Butcher’s Best™ Signature Menu, mix increasing amounts of Butcher’s Best™ Signature Menu with decreasing amounts of the current food over a 7 to 10-day period. During gestation and lactation, feed 2 to 4 times the portions recommended for the weight of your adult dog. Puppies often begin to eat solid foods at 3 to 4 weeks of age. Food can be served dry or with warm water (3 parts food to 1 part water). Offer clean, fresh water at all times. See your veterinarian regularly.
